Stand apart. Yesterday we saw how important it is that we not be the complainers, the arguers, the ones who are putting things down. Today, we see the sentence continued and understand why we should not be that way. We are to be set apart.

As followers of Jesus Christ, our attitude should stand apart from the attitude of the rest of the world. The world will see the horrible difficult struggles and they will feel them. For us, while we see them, we are not overcome by them. We belong to the One who has overcome the world and that is why we have nothing to complain or argue about. Can the world tell a difference in us? Does our attitude reflect the victory that we have through Jesus Christ over everything in this world? What attitude do we need to have today?
