Christian Devotional – March 6, 2013

VERSE:

2 Chronicles 5:13–The trumpeters and musicians joined in unison to give praise and thanks to the Lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals, and other instruments, the singers raised their voices in praise to the Lord and sang: “He is good; his love endures forever.” Then the temple of the Lord was filled with the cloud.

TRUTH:

The people had finished the temple and were praising God. God came to dwell where His people praised Him. All the people were together praising God and He was there in their midst. The same is true today. God loves the praise of His people and His glory is found in the presences of praise. Are we praising God and lifting Him up to invite Him and His glory in?

RESPONSE:

Father, You are good and Your love endures forever. The praises of the people then are still true today and I will lift You up and praise Your name in all I do today, so that You may be glorified in everything and know that You are welcome in every area of my life.
