How effective are your prayers? We all want to be someone who gets what we pray for. We want to see God move in areas that we feel are important in our life and the lives of others around us. Read James 5:17-18.
Then he prayed again, and the sky poured rain and the earth produced its fruit.

Yesterday we saw that confession and prayer for each other is the key to seeing results in our prayer life. Today, James gives us a real life example. In these verses, we see Elijah mentioned and telling how he, even though he was just a man, made a significant impact on others through his prayer life.
What are you currently praying for? Are you seeing God move and work through your prayers? If not, have you gone back to yesterday’s lesson on how to have effective prayer? God wants to move and work in our lives, but we must be willing and able to line up with Him and to pray effectively. It can be done; Elijah proves that!
