VERSE:
Ecclesiastes 10:12–Words from the mouth of the wise are gracious, but fools are consumed by their own lips.
TRUTH:
Are our words full of grace? Do we know when to speak and when to be silent? These two things are the difference between being wise and being a fool. If we are allowing our words to run away with us and we don’t know when to stop talking, then we are certainly not being wise. Our words should overflow with grace and mercy. We must display thankfulness and love any time we open our mouth.
RESPONSE:
Father, I praise You and love You. You are the one who gives me grace and my words need to be a reflection of that grace. Help me know when to speak and when not to. Give me Your grace so I can share that with others today.
