Christian Devotional – May 14, 2016

Read Daniel chapter 12

VERSE:

Daniel 12:3–Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.

TRUTH:

In the midst of the prophecies of the end of the world and darkness, Daniel sees this. Those who are wise and who are focused on the righteousness of God and leading people to that; they will find the brightness of the glory of God. They will shine like stars forevermore. We are surrounded with the chaos and problems of our world, but are we seeking for the righteousness of God? Do we seek to lead others to the righteousness of God? No matter how dark our world or our times seem, God is the only One who brings the light and we must be about seeking Him and sharing Him with everyone.

RESPONSE:

Father, Your righteousness overshadows everything else in this world and I pray that You will keep me focused on You today and every day. I will follow after You and all that You desire for me. Thank You for all that You are and all that You are doing. I pray that You will use me to show and share Your righteousness with the world.
