Christian Devotional – May 26, 2016

Read Amos chapter 9

VERSE:

Amos 9:15–“I will plant Israel in their own land, never again to be uprooted from the land I have given them,” says the Lord your God.

TRUTH:

Even with all the words of destruction and judgment, God ends the book with the reminder that He will have His hand on His people. He has not forgotten them and He will continue in His promise to bring them to their own land and restored them. As we are following God and make the commitment to have God first in every area of our life, we will see that God will restore us and set us apart for His own glory. He will bring us to the place where He will establish us forever and we will never again be uprooted from His land.

RESPONSE:

Father, I love You and I will seek after You. I look forward to the day when I will be fully restored and Your work in me will be completed. I pray that until that day, You will continue to move and work in me to make me more and more like You. Thank You for all that You do for me.
