The Next Steps, Day 21

Commitment. As we read Acts chapter 21, we Payl at an interesting time. He is having great opportunity to impact the believers and share the message. Paul desires to see people come to know the Lord, no matter what that means for him.

People were concerned for Paul, yet Paul wasn’t concerned for himself. Paul was concerned for Christ. Paul’s deepest heart’s desire was to see people come to know Christ.

What is our deepest heart’s desire? What are we seeking after that is the most that we are looking for? We will meet people or have people in our lives that are concerned about us and that is great. The issue becomes when they are more concerned about us than they are about pleasing Christ. Christ is the most important. We aren’t. Are we making Christ the highest priority in our lives?
