30 Days of Thanks, Day 15

Change is constant. How do we praise God through change? As we read through day 15 of the 30 days of thanks reading plan on YouVersion.com, we are brought to Psalms 7:17.

The reading plan for today asks us to reflect on the idea of change. What strikes me is while change is absolutely inevitable for us in every area of our life, the exception is God. God is unchanging. He is the same yesterday today and forever. Because of our relationship with God, we have something steadfast to hold on to while the rest of the world is changing in chaos around us.

Do we cling to God even while we are changing? Do we embrace the change that God desires to bring in our life your life? While God may stay the same, we must change because we are not perfect and God desires for us to be made like Him. Embrace the change that God is bringing about in your life, because the change he brings is for the purpose of making us more like him.
