Christian Devotional – November 27, 2013

VERSE:

Numbers 11:17–I will come down and speak with you there, and I will take some of the power of the Spirit that is on you and put it on them. They will share the burden of the people with you so that you will not have to carry it alone.

TRUTH:

The people were complaining…again. Moses came to the Lord and told Him that he is not able to bear the burden of leading the people all by himself. God decides that He will have Moses bring others with him so that they can share the burden with Moses. Do we try to carry burdens alone? God knows that we need someone to share the burden so that we can make it through.

RESPONSE:

Father, You know my burdens and You know the people that You have brought into my life to help share these burdens. I pray You will help me to share my burdens with others so that You may be glorified in everything I do.
