Christian Devotional – October 30, 2012

VERSE:
Proverbs 14:27–The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, that one may avoid the snares of death.

TRUTH:
Do we feel a fountain of life filling up inside us and giving us strength and vigor for each new day? Trusting in the Lord and allowing Him to have control of our lives is just that refreshing! If we fear the Lord and put our whole trust and faith in Him, this verse states that the result is a fountain of life. A fountain is active and fresh, allowing revitalizing water to flow to every part continually. Without it this fountain of life, we find ourselves surrounded by the snares of death. What describes our life today?

RESPONSE:
Father, fill me! Renew me! I will trust in You and Your ways. I will place my faith in You, and I am in awe of who You are and all that You do. Bring Your fountain of life to refresh me and flow over every area of my life!
