The Weeping Prophet, Day 3

God chooses us. Read Jeremiah chapter 3.

The people have betrayed God and have sinned against him, and yet God still chooses them. Even though they’re disobedient, God remains faithful while they are faithless.

No matter what situation we find ourselves in, and no matter how much we have sinned or turned against God, he choses us. He wants us. God desires a relationship with each of us so much so that he sent his son Jesus to die for us to bridge the gap between us that was made by our sin.

Will we respond to God and choose him just as he chose us?
