Read Genesis chapter 11

VERSE:

Genesis 11:8–So the Lord scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city.

TRUTH:

The people had a plan. They didn’t want to move all over the earth, they wanted to all congregate in one place. So they set about building a city where they could make their own name great. They had a plan. Unfortunately, their plan was exactly opposed to the plan that God had for them. So, in the end, God did one thing, He confused their languages. After that, the people took it upon themselves to scatter out and separate and go over the whole earth. God is the one who has the perfect plan and if we are planning to do something that goes against His plan, God has ways of bringing things back into His perfect plan. We may not like the consequences, but in the end, we are following God’s plan and not our own. Will we start out following God’s plan today?

RESPONSE:

Father, I praise You and I thank You for all that You have done and planned out for me. I know that at times I try to make my own plans, but I am glad that You bring me back into Your plan. Please keep me focused on Your plan for me and not my own plans. Thank You!.
