Devotional – August 22, 2011

VERSE:
Psalm 67:7–God blesses us, that all the ends of the earth may fear Him.

TRUTH:
Why do we receive blessings from the Lord? Is it because we deserve them or have earned them? No, the Lord blesses us for one simple reason: to show His glory and power to all people. When God blesses us, do we share the story or the blessing with others, or do we hoard it all ourselves?

RESPONSE:
Father, You have so richly blesses me in so many ways. Today, help me to use the blessings You’ve given me to show and teach others about You.
