Devotional – February 12, 2012

VERSE:
Job 27:8–For what is the hope of the godless when he is cast off, when God requires his life?

TRUTH:
I’ve often wondered how those who do not have God cope with the difficulties and injustices of life. Job asks the same. Even through the darkest of times, if we have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ, we have a hope that others don’t. Do we place our hope in Him even when God allows us to go through difficulties?

RESPONSE:
Lord, You have my life and even if You take everything from me, I place my hope in You for You are the only thing worth hoping in.
