Devotional – June 21, 2011

VERSE:
Psalm 21:7–For the king trusts in the Lord, and through the lovingkindness of the Most High he will not be shaken.

TRUTH:
King David wrote this psalm and he knew that he could not take care of things on his own. Instead, he trusted in the Lord. He was not shaken because He had God’s lovingkindness. We can stand firm and trust God. His lovingkindness will hold us firm even when everything around us is shaking.

RESPONSE:
Lord, thank You for holding me steady and through Your lovingkindness I know that nothing today will be able to shake me.
