Devotional – June 22, 2011

VERSE:
Psalm 22:8–Commit yourself to the Lord; let Him deliver him, let Him rescue him, because He delights in him.

TRUTH:
The Lord does delight in us. He will rescue us. We are to commit ourselves to Him. Are we expecting the rewards without the commitment? The Lord seeks for both commitment to Him and for our permission to be allowed to act in and through us. Will we let Him?

RESPONSE:
Lord, I commit myself to You. I will let You deliver and rescue me and not try to do these things on my own.
