Devotional – November 13, 2011

VERSE:
Psalm 110:2–The Lord will stretch forth Your strong scepter from Zion, “Rule in the midst of Your enemies.”

TRUTH:
Jesus Christ is the Messiah. He quoted from this psalm as He explained Himself to others. He will stretch forth His scepter and will rule the entire earth, regardless of who believes in Him or not. The truth of Jesus’ reign is not affected by our opinion of it.

RESPONSE:
Lord, You are indeed over all and You will rule over all. I thank You for all that You are and I praise You for Your truth.
