The Next Steps, Day 26 The testimony. Paul gives his full testimony in Acts 26. As we read his testimony we see just how simple Paul explains the reasoning behind following Christ. Plus we see how Paul truly desired for everyone to follow Christ and become his brother and sister in the faith. Do we desire to see others come to Christ? What lengths would we go to for that to happen? Paul was willing to be enslaved and imprisoned for the opportunity to share the gospel. How about us?

The Next Steps, Day 24 Clear conscience. What is a clear conscience? What does it take to have a clear conscience? Read Acts 24. We see Paul sharing his story, again, We see the integrity in what he shares. Paul shares the same message over and over regard regardless of who is listening. Paul understands how important it is to have integrity because that impacts how others receive his message. Do we concern ourselves with our integrity? Are we conscious of that as we go through our day? How can we share Christ’s message with integrity today?

The Next Steps, Day 23 Enemies. When we share the message of Christ, we will create enemies. People will not like our message and they will disagree with what God is doing in our life. Read Acts 23. As Paul was sharing the message of Jesus Christ, he made people mad. Many of the religious leaders were afraid that Paul was going to destroy their religion and all that they held dear. As a result, they plotted to kill him. When we are following Jesus Christ we are going to make people mad. We must understand and accept that as fact. The Next Steps, Day 22 God’s timing. As we look back at the life of Paul, we see him explaining in more detail exactly what happened in the days and months after his conversion to Christ. Read Acts 22. Paul was passionate about Jesus Christ, even from the very beginning. However, God knew that wasn’t the right timing. Paul started out trying to preach immediately, but because of his past, people didn’t accept his message and were not interested in listening to him. As a result, God had him leave for a time. The Next Steps, Day 21 Commitment. As we read Acts chapter 21, we Payl at an interesting time. He is having great opportunity to impact the believers and share the message. Paul desires to see people come to know the Lord, no matter what that means for him. People were concerned for Paul, yet Paul wasn’t concerned for himself. Paul was concerned for Christ. Paul’s deepest heart’s desire was to see people come to know Christ. What is our deepest heart’s desire? What are we seeking after that is the most that we are looking for? We will meet people or have people in our lives that are concerned about…

The Next Steps, Day 20 Finish the race. It seems appropriate that this is the verse that God showed me today since I am spending the day at a track meet. As I watch people run, it reminds me of these words from Acts 20. God desires that we run the race of life in obedience to him and that we run it in such a way that he is glorified in everything that he does through us. How would we define our race? Are we running with an intensity that matches and glorifies are Lord Jesus Christ? How can we continue to press forward each and every day?

The Next Steps, Day 19 Known. Are we known as someone who follows and obey Jesus. Read Acts 19. As we read through this chapter we see a situation where multiple people are trying to do the things that Jesus did without having a relationship with Jesus. As a result, the demon didn’t respect them and didn’t listen to them. As a follower of Jesus, do others recognize that is what we are? Do our actions display that obedience? When we take a look at this example, we must ensure that our hearts and obedience line up with all that God wants to do through us.

The Next Steps, Day 18 Keep on speaking. As we continue to read about the journeys of Paul, we see that he continues to share the message. Read Acts 18. No matter what is going on around him, Paul is always sharing the message of Jesus Christ and the truth of who Jesus is. It doesn’t matter whether people accept his message or they don’t. It doesn’t matter whether he is liked or not. Either way, Paul continues to share the message. Do we have the tenacity that Paul had and are we as committed to the message as he was? The Next Steps, Day 17 Tell everyone. As we read through Acts chapter 17, we see that Paul shared the message with absolutely everyone. Paul was not concerned with how people would respond to the gospel or how they would respond to him, instead Paul was only concerned that they had the opportunity to hear the message. Paul went out of his way to defend the gospel and to share the life and mercy of Jesus Christ with everyone he came into contact with. Do we have that same passion?
