Four of the Letters, Day 15

How do we represent our country? Read Philippians chapter 3.

As Paul was writing through this chapter, we see that he explains our citizenship is in heaven. Now the people he was talking to were from lots of different countries. Some were Jews and some weren’t. But Paul made the point that these people need to understand their citizenship was in Christ. Christ was the one that brought all of them together and gives all of them purpose and commonality. Through Christ they have belonging. We will never completely fit in any of our countries that we live in. Regardless of whether we are in a country that accepts Jesus Christ and allows him to be preached or not, we still must remember that we are citizens of heaven first and foremost.
