Begin Again, Day 7

Share the story. Read Joshua chapter 4.

We have seen how God had done such amazing things for the people of Israel. They just crossed over the Jordan on dry ground. Joshua told them to set up a memorial as a way to remember what God has done for them. But the second part of that is not just to remember it, but to share it. The people were responsible for telling the story of what God had done. They were not to keep that information to themselves. They were to tell their children and help the next generation to understand the incredible acts of God and all that he had done for them.

Yesterday, I challenged you to look at something God had done and figure out a way to remember that and memorialize that. Today, share what it is that God has done. Maybe you need to call someone or tell someone, or maybe you just need to comment on this post. Regardless of how you choose to share, share the story of what God has done. Recognize the importance of making it known to others so that everyone can rejoice in the works that God does.
