Leading Through Challenging Circumstances, Day 11

The everlasting kingdom. Read Daniel 2:44-45.

God shares the message of Jesus at every opportunity, and so should we. As Daniel finishes up his interpretation of the dream that the king had, we see the foreshadowing of the coming of Christ. Daniel explains the kingdoms that are going to come after the current one. These will be the different rulers and empires that will be over the land. God then shares that there will be a kingdom that will be established that wasn’t created by man and that is going to be greater than every single kingdom.

God was sharing the message of the coming of Christ. The kingdom that God was going to establish is the kingdom of Jesus Christ. Even though we do not see his name, we can fully understand the importance of what God was sharing. We recognized that God is always pointing to his ultimate plan for salvation. Even through this dream, God use this as an opportunity to point people to Christ.

There is an everlasting kingdom coming. That kingdom is going to be greater than every other kingdom. Christ came and established that kingdom and through his perfect life, death, burial, and resurrection on the cross. We can also be part of that kingdom. Are we sharing that message in every way to everyone?
