The Coming King, Day 9

How do we wait in faith? As we continue to study about the coming king, we see a reminder of what we should be doing while we wait. Looking at 2 Peter 3:11-14, we see so many things that will happen upon the second coming of Christ. Yet, we are to be waiting for him in such a way that we are pointing people toward him. Our faith in Christ and the knowledge of his coming, allows us to have the faith that we can live each and every day in victory.

Are we pointing other people toward Christ? Even while we wait, do we maintain our focus on who Jesus is and how we live him out every single day. Because of Jesus’s first coming we are able to understand our faith in him and wait expectantly, living holy lives, for his 2nd coming.
