The Coming King, Day 11

Joy. As we start the third week of the advent, we focus on the joy of the Lord. Read Philippians 4:4-5.

We’ve been studying the faith and the hope that we have in Christ. As a result, knowing him creates such a sense of joy and who he is and in what he has done for us. When we think about our relationship with Christ, is the first thing we think of joy? How are we living out our joy in Christ today?

We are to continuously find joy in everything that God brings before us, because God is joy. The coming king came to provide joy for us. Apart from him, we cannot truly know joy. Are you experiencing joy in your life today? If not, Jesus Christ is the joy that you are missing.
