The Coming King, Day 12

God’s coming brings joy. As we continue through this week studying about the joy of the Lord, the coming king, we read Isaiah 35:1-6.

The prophet Isaiah knew that the coming king would bring joy. We can experience amazing joy understanding who God is and how God blesses us. God desires that we anticipate his coming and that we are looking forward to him. We can have such tremendous joy when we think about not just what the first coming of Jesus meant, but also what the second coming of Jesus will mean. Do we have great joy when we think about the coming king? We should. The whole world has joy with us in that thought.
