The Voice of the Prophet, Day 35

Ever been afraid? Read Isaiah chapter 35.

God is going to restore all things. However, until we see that truth and promise fulfilled, it can be really challenging to keep our hope and our sense of security. We can become afraid. We can fear the rest of the world. We can fear, in some cases, even the judgment of God. Until we see and experience the promise of his salvation and redemption, it can be very frightening and fearful.

As Isaiah shares this, we see that God speaks to those people with fearful hearts. God wants them to understand that he sees where they are, and he understands their fears. But, he is there to alleviate those fears and cast them away.

We do not have to be afraid, we can trust in God. We do not have to be afraid, we place our hope in the permanency of God. We do not have to be afraid, God is faithful. Are we trusting in God and awaiting the promise of his restoration and salvation? He is the one who brings us joy and the absence of fear.
