Read Job chapter 21

VERSE:

Job 21:14–Yet they say to God “Leave us alone! We have no desire to know your ways.”

TRUTH:

When we hear people make the statement above, we often think they are just uninterested or not caring about religious ideas. However, the Bible actually indicates that they are wicked. People who are trapped in sin and who don’t have a relationship with God, they don’t have any interest in Godly things. Why should they? They don’t want God to influence their lives and they don’t want to see people doing things that please God. Many times we try to excuse people’s disinterest in God, when actually we need to understand that God calls those people wicked. Are we ministering to the wicked people of the world to reach them with the saving message of Jesus Christ?

RESPONSE:

Father, I praise You and I thank You for all that You are doing. I know that You desire to see everyone come to Yourself and I praise You for all that You have done. Thank You for Your word and for Your ways. I desire to know them and to help teach others.
