The Coming King, Day 8

God is coming. As we read through today a section in 2nd Peter, we see chapter 3, verses 8-9, that God is coming back. Jesus had come and had lived on Earth and the disciples had faith that he would return again, just as they were told. We can have faith that Christ is coming again because of our belief in his coming the first time. God has already proven himself faithful because he came as a baby and we celebrate that at Christmas.

Because of God keeping his promise, we have that much more assurance that God will return again when it’s the right time. He is going to fulfill his promise and we don’t have to worry about him being slow because he knows the exact right time.
