Read Song of Songs chapter 2

VERSE:

Song of Songs 2:7–Daughters of Jerusalem, I charge you by the gazelles and by the does of the field, do not arouse or awaken love until it so desires.

TRUTH:

We must not rush into love, especially physical expressions of love. God knows the correct timing of that love and we should not be in a hurry so that we go outside of God’s plan for the best of physical intimacy. It is better to wait on God’s perfect plan than to move forward with our own hormones or sinful lusts.

RESPONSE:

Father, I praise You for all that You have given us with physical love and I will seek to praise You with how I express physical love with my husband. You have a plan for my best and it includes how I respond to physical love.
