The Voice of the Prophet, Day 55

God knows it all. Read Isaiah chapter 55.

As we begin a New Year, many people will have resolutions or plans for the year. Some people choose words that will be a focal point for the year for them. God wants us to understand that all of the things that we think about, put together, prioritize and the way in which we go about solving problems…. He does it different.

His thoughts are not our thoughts. His ways are not our ways. While we are made in his image and have similar processes and capacity, he knows so much more than we do that our problem solving skills are not even in the same a league as his. He understands more how to solve all the issues that are going on in our lives. His plans are wiser and greater than ours.

As we commit to a New Year, make this year about seeking his plans, his thoughts, and his will for our lives because his ways are greater than ours and his thoughts are higher than ours. Start the New Year focused on God.
