The Voice of the Prophet, Day 60

It’s not about what others think of us. It’s about what God thinks of us. Read Isaiah chapter 60.

Getting the opportunity to read through this chapter, we see the difference of how other people perceived then, versus how God perceived them. Other people saw disgrace and failure and collapse, whereas God knew and understood the glory that they had in him.

It’s so important to understand that God is going to allow His word to be over everything. People will see us in light of how they see God. People may be angry and upset with us, but we need to be much more concerned with how God sees us than with how others see us.

Are we staying focused on God’s perspective of us, knowing that he will make us an everlasting pride and joy. We can love him in all things.
