The Voice of the Prophet, Day 59

God is able. Read Isaiah chapter 59.

God is able to save us, and we definitely need saving. As we read through this chapter in Isaiah, we come to understand just how sinful we are and how much our sin has separated us from a holy God.

But God starts out the chapter by saying that he is able to save us. He is strong enough and he is capable of providing the salvation that we so desperately need when we focus on him and commit ourselves to him. God saves us through Jesus Christ. We should never doubt God’s ability to provide that salvation for us. Are we trusting in God to save us today?
