Read 1 John chapter 5

VERSE:

1 John 5:7-8–there are three that testify: the Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement.

TRUTH:

In the Old Testament, the law required two or three witnesses when giving testimony in court. Here, John shares that the testimony of Jesus Christ is verified by three witnesses who are all in agreement. Do we know and understand the truth about Jesus Christ? We can share with confidence because we have such strong witnesses who are all in agreement that Jesus is who He said He is.

RESPONSE:

Father, Your word is truth and all things testify to the truth of who You are and who Jesus Christ is. I will also testify today of that truth, knowing that You are who You say You are.
