The Gospels through the Summer, Day 17

Read Matthew 17. As Jesus continues sharing with the disciples, they begin to go out and to do what Jesus is doing. However, in this case, they are not able to accomplish the same results. When asked why, Jesus responds with this verse.

How often are we trying to do what Jesus does, but without any faith that it can be done or will happen? We just go through the motions as we go through life. Jesus has power and authority and through him, so do we. We must have the faith in him that we can do all things through him. He is our strength and our victory.
