Christian Devotional – March 4, 2016

Read Joshua chapter 3

VERSE:

Joshua 3:5–Joshua told the people, “Consecrate yourselves for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you.”

TRUTH:

God looks to us and desires to do great and amazing things among us. The question is, are we ready and prepared for that? Joshua told the people that they were to consecrate themselves or set themselves apart as holy. The Lord is looking to do great and amazing things each and every day, the question becomes, will we be prepared to be a part of it? We must take the time each day to set ourselves apart to be holy before the Lord. That is when we will see and be part of the amazing and wonderful things that God has for us.

RESPONSE:

Father, I know that You are doing great and amazing things and I want to be a part of that. I pray that You will take me and cleanse me and cover me with the blood of Jesus so that I may be clean. I lift You up and I praise Your Holy Name.
