The Message – #23

The Lord does plan the downfall of the prideful. Look through Isaiah chapter 23 and focus on verse 9 tonight.

The Lord of hosts has planned it, to defile the pride of all beauty, To despise all the honored of the earth.

Are we prideful? Do we assume that we are better than others for whatever reason? It’s interesting to see how quickly we can become prideful and that is exactly what the people of Tyre were experiencing. They had becone prideful and as a result, God planned their downfall.

Are we being prideful in anything we do? God will not have that and he will remind us who is in control and who has the only things to be boastful of and that is Him.
