Christian Devotional – October 21, 2016

Read Titus chapter 2

VERSE:

Titus 2:14–who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.

TRUTH:

Jesus Christ gave himself to redeem us. We were in a horrible state of wickedness and sin and yet Jesus Christ still came to provide us a way back. Through His sacrifice we can be made right with God and purified from our wickedness. When we accept Him and surrender our life to Him, we are His children. We become His people. Have we accepted the redemption that God offers through Jesus Christ? Are we His people, eager to do good?

RESPONSE:

Father, thank You for Your redemption through Jesus Christ, for I am a sinner in need of Your grace. Because of Your love and forgiveness, I owe You my life and I will continue to work and to serve You in all that You desire.
