How to Love, Day 1

We’re going to take a quick, 3 day journey into love from the perspective of John in the book of 2nd John.

Take a few minutes and read through the book. Looking at verse 2, we see that love begins with truth. We cannot truly love someone outside of understanding the truth of who Jesus is. Jesus is love and by understanding him, we can share that love with others.

Are we truly loving the way in which God loves us? Are we loving through truth? When we truly loves someone, we won’t let them live in such a way that they are outside of truth. We will feel compelled to tell them the truth, even if it’s hard. Are we willing to love other people in truth?
