VERSE: Psalm 124:7–Our soul has escaped as a bird out of the snare of the trapper; the snare is broken and we have escaped. TRUTH: This entire psalm speaks of the Lord’s deliverance from those who are seeking to destroy us. We have an enemy who seeks our destruction. He will use whatever means he can to try and trap us. But we have a Savior who delivers us, if we will trust in Him. He breaks us free from everything that seeks our destruction. Are we living today knowing we are free from the destroyer. RESPONSE: Lord, I love You and I trust in Your deliverance. Because of You…

VERSE: Psalm 123:2–Behold, as the eyes of the servant look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God, until He is gracious to us. TRUTH: God provides everything for us. We are to trust Him for everything we need. Just like a servant is dependant on their master for everything they have, we are dependant on God for everything we have. We can hold on to Him and trust Him until He supplies our needs as promised. The Decay Within – Production Diary, Part 7 – Layout
This month has The Decay Within moving to the layout phase of production. Now that the cover has been chosen (see below) we can really start to grind out the details of a book that I certainly never thought about before. What font should we use? How wide should the margins be? Should the headings be centered or left-justified? How do we want to format the chapter beginnings? Who knew there were so many little things to think about!Luckily, I’m not alone in this task. Tate Graphic Designer Sarah Kirchen has joined the “Decay Within team” this month to polish off the final details. She’s going to take elements from…

VERSE: Psalm 116:6–The Lord preserves the simple; I was brought low, and He saved me.
