VERSE: 1 Corinthians 12:21–And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you “; or again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” TRUTH: We are the body of Christ and we need each other. We cannot successfully carry out all that God has for us to do alone. Are we seeking to work together with other believers or do we try to work alone? RESPONSE: Lord, help me to be willing to seek out help so that together we can do all that You have planned for us.

VERSE: 1 Corinthians 11:1–Be imitators of me, just as I also am of Christ. TRUTH: What a bold statement! When we look at our life, do we feel confident enough in our walk with Christ to say to others, “If you want to see what Christ looks like, just look at me.”? This is to be our goal in allowing Christ to live through us every day. RESPONSE: Lord, I pray You will live through me and that I will submit to You so that when others look at me and my life, all they see is You.

VERSE: 1 Corinthians 10:13–No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also so that you will be able to endure it. TRUTH: God is faithful. Of all the promises in this verse, this one stands out. No matter what we are going through, God is faithful. He is there. He has been through it before and He is able to lead us through if we are willing to trust Him and place our faith in Him moment by moment.…

VERSE: 1 Corinthians 9:20–For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a slave to all, so that I may win more. TRUTH: Even though we have freedom in Christ, Paul recognized that God’s heart is to see others come to Him. Paul sacrificed everything to accomplish this goal. What are we willing to sacrifice so that others will come to know Christ?RESPONSE: Lord, because You live in me, Your goals are my goals. I pray that I will be willing to sacrifice everything to see others come to know You.

Production Diary – The Decay Within, Part 3 – Conceptual Editing
We’re a little ways into the month, but with the Fourth of July holiday, I think things got a little behind Tate’s original schedule. I am excited to share with you that I’ve just received official word that The Decay Within has moved from Copy Editing over to Conceptual Editing.So what is Conceptual editing? Well, copy editing dealt with grammar issues. Now, my conceptual editor is going to really go through the book and review it for the content. VERSE: 1 Corinthians 8:9–But take care that this liberty of Yours does not somehow become a stumbling block to the weak. TRUTH: Through Christ we have liberty and freedom. Book Review – My Finny Fin Fin by Judi Chesshir
My Finny Fin Fin by Judi Chesshir is story about three dolphins who head out on their own. They have grown up and are off to see the ocean and make their own way in the world. This book talks about choices and, as a take off of the classic Three Little Pigs story, helps children to understand the importance of thinking ahead and examining their choices. Judi’s book is beautifully illustrated and the audio portion is well narrated and easy to listen to. The book is a fun take on an old story and will be enjoyed by children for years to come.
