Music Review – “Texas Chosen”
The music of Texas Chosen comes with a southern country feel to it. For me, the thing that gives their music such a distinctive quality is the words. There is such passion throughout their music for people to hear the message of the hope of Jesus Christ and to be transformed by it, that it permeates every note that is played or sung. They are a joy to listen to.Check out and listen to samples of their songs at their website http://www.texaschosen.com/ or at http://www.reverbnation.com/#!/texaschosen

VERSE: Psalm 8:8–Yet You have made him a little lower than God, and You crown him with glory and majesty! TRUTH: As humans, we must remember two things. First, we are created by God, we are not gods ourselves. We must never allow God’s position in our life to be altered. Second, as His creation, we have a glory and a majesty that God gives that is truly amazing. We are like no other creation of His, we are crowned with His glory and majesty! The Decay Within – Production Diary, part 2 – Copy Editing
Is it there, their, or they’re? Do I use a semi-colon or just a comma? Or maybe a period? When it comes to writing a book, grammar and punctuation often get pushed aside in favor of focusing on the content of the book. That’s a huge mistake because a person can have great content that no one can understand because the grammar and punctuation is incorrect. How we communicate something is just as important as what we are communicating in the first place. This month, The Decay Within is starting the copy editing process. As I mentioned in part 1 of the production process diary, the manuscript has been stripped…

VERSE: Psalm 7:1–O Lord my God, in You I have taken refuge; save me from all those who pursue me, and deliver me. TRUTH: When we go through difficulties, do we not just pray to God for help, but actually realign ourselves so that we are taking refuge in the Lord? He is our only refuge and only in Him can we find salvation and deliverance. RESPONSE: Lord, I pray that You will help me to not only ask for Your deliverance, but to actually move so that I take refuge in You.

“I will love you until forever.” Jessi Jensen spoke those words to her son Ethan every day, yet when tragedy strikes, her entire world is torn apart. Darlene Shortridge brings to life the story of Jessi in Until Forever. Even though life must go on, Jessi is stuck trying to hold on to the past and make sense of what has happened. When Jessi’s husband is the cause of the accident, how can she possibly find a way to move forward? What does it truly mean to love another person? How can we forgive what seems unforgiveable? What are our relationships built upon? These are the core questions that Darlene…
