    VERSE:Hebrews 10:36–For you have need of endurance so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised.TRUTH:We cannot do the will of God on our own, and we certainly can not do it consistently. God provides for us first by doing through Christ what we could not do on our own and second by providing the promise of redemption and eternal life.RESPONSE:Lord, thank You for making a way for us to endure because even when we want to do Your will, we fail. Thank You for keeping Your promises to us.

    VERSE:Hebrews 9:28–So Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.TRUTH:We have God’s promise that Christ will return and He who was offered to bear the sins of the world will come back in complete victory. We have His promise and we are to wait in anticipation of that time. Are we living in expectation?RESPONSE:Lord, thank You for the victory You have already won. I eagerly await Your return!

His sacrifice is the only way to experience the forgiveness and mercy God has for us. Have you accepted his sacrificial gift?RESPONSE:Lord, thank You for Your gift of forgiveness. Your mercy and forgiveness is amazing.

Help me to realize that when You forgive me, I am completely forgiven forever.

Through it all, He proved Himself obedient. When our hard times come, do we see them as an opportunity to learn to be obedient to God through faith in Him? RESPONSE:Lord, help me not waste any opportunity to be obedient to You, even in my sufferings.

He stands alone as more worthy of glory and honor than Moses or the law because of his position.RESPONSE:Lord, I praise You for being over all. You are worthy of all glory.

Do we rely on the Lord through our temptations?RESPONSE:Lord, help me to allow You to lead me through the trials I go through. You suffered through and overcame, help to do so also.
