The Voice of the Prophet, Day 57

No peace for the wicked. Read Isaiah chapter 57.

The righteous will have peace, but God goes so far as to explain that the wicked will have no peace. As God is evaluating each person and addressing them, we understand that his peace is only for those who follow him. Those who have been wicked and are not following God will not experience God’s peace.

But those who rest and rely on the Lord and take refuge in him will experience true peace. Are we experiencing peace? If not, we need to understand that we are seeking peace somewhere else besides in God.
