The Voice of the Prophet, Day 58

Restoration. Read Isaiah chapter 58.

As God shares with Isaiah this glimpse into the restoration of Israel, it’s such an amazing idea. I’m always amazed at how detailed and focused God is on all of our needs. God knows our needs even before we have knowledge that we need anything, and he shows this as he goes through and lists all the things that he is going to provide for those people who are faithful to him.

God is the water we need in a sun-scorched area. God is our guidance in a land that we don’t know or understand. When we come to the Lord, he promises to direct our paths and lead us. If we will continue in trust and faith, we will see God move in incredible and powerful ways. Are we allowing God to restore us? And are we trusting and waiting on him and his timing?
