No Distractions, Day 1

How quickly distractions happen! Read Galatians 1:1-9.

We are beginning a study through the book of Galatians. This tiny letter from Paul to the church in Galitia is packed full of incredible truths that we can use to apply to our life. One of the key themes that Paul deals with is the importance of not being distracted. The people were super excited about following Christ. However, as time goes by, they end up becoming more and more distracted by other the things around them. Paul writes this letter to remind them what is important and what they need to stay focused on.

We see Paul’s introduction and his astonishment at how quickly the people have fallen away from their focus on Christ. Paul wants people to recognize that distractions are going to happen, but we have to be diligent to not lose sight of the goal.

Are we staying focused on our relationship with Christ? Throughout this study, it will be time to take inventory of our focus level. As you’re reading through today, how dialed in and focused are you on your relationship with Christ? Start with a self- evaluation, and we’ll see how Paul addresses the people over the next several days.
