The Coming King, Day 15 Christ is coming again, restore our joy. Read Psalm 51. We have such amazing joy in the Lord. His presence in our life and the way he interacts with us creates amazing amounts of joy. However, sin separates us from that joy and fellowship with Christ. The Coming King, Day 14 We have peace in Christ and he never causes us to stumble. Today we are looking at Matthew 11:2-11. Looking at peace this week while we anticipate and celebrate the coming king, this story may not be exactly what we think of when we think of peace. The Coming King, Day 13 Joy will overtake them. As we read through today’s verses on joy, we turn to Isaiah 35:10. Those who have come to Christ, retun to joy. They have gladness and joy overtake them. As we think about the coming King, we realize that all that Jesus came to bring us was the joy that he is. We don’t find joy outside of Christ. As we are looking forward to Christ’s second coming, we can realize that we have joy in all that Christ is.

Jesus had come and had lived on Earth and the disciples had faith that he would return again, just as they were told. We can have faith in God because he is a caring father who is always looking our for his children. God knows that we can’t do anything without him and so he works to make sure that we know that we can really on him. He is trustworthy. He is worthy of our faith. Do we place our faith in him?

The Coming King, Day 6 We will see God. As we look to all that we will God doing, we read Isaiah 40:1-5. We will see God’s glory. And not only us, but the whole world will see the glory that God has. We gave faith in God, but it is not a baseless faith. This is a faith that comes from knowing who God is. Do we know him and praise him for who he is?
