ADHD Gospel, Day 3 Authority. Read Mark 1:16-34. Have you ever been around someone who didn’t really have authority, but tried to pretend that they did? Some people try mask it really well. Others, you can tell right away that they don’t really believe what they are saying. Either way, eventually, it becomes easy to spot the real from the fake. As Jesus started his ministry here on earth, one characterization of his ministry was his authority. He called people to follow him, and they did it. ADHD Gospel, Day 2 Obedience. Read Mark 1:9-15. When we talk about the book of Mark being a quick moving story of Jesus, these 7 verses are a perfect example. Within these 7 verses, we see Jesus baptized by John. We see Jesus tempted by satan. Then we read about Jesus beginning his preaching ministry. All of these events are in the span of 7 versus. When we look at these all together, we see a bigger picture of the obedience of Christ. Christ was baptized in accordance with the obedience of the plan from his Father.
