But a statement like that begs the question as to whether or not that means God is forgetful? A forgetful God would also not remember other things, such as their promises or their commandments. However, God is not a forgetful God. He fully remembers absolutely everything. He makes a choice to no longer remember our sins when we have come to him in repentance.
